BREAKING: Governor Obaseki Emerges Winner Of Edo PDP Primary Poll

Governor Godwin Obaseki has emerged winner of the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship primary election in the state.

The party announced his victory at its primary held at the Samuel Ogbemudia International Stadium Benin City on Thursday.

Confirming the development, the Senior Special Adviser on New Media to Governor Obaseki, Jack Obinyan, tweeted moment after the announcement was made, “In case you haven’t heard, @GovernorObaseki is returned unopposed, emerges as the flag bearer of the @OfficialPDPNig
ahead of September 19, 2020 Gubernatorial Elections.”
