BREAKING: COVID-19 Death Toll Hits 10,000 Globally

The number of deaths resulting from the deadly coronavirus pandemic in the world has risen above 10,000.

AFP reports on Friday a total of 10,080 deaths, with Europe recording a total of 4,932 and Asia 3,431. Italy, the worst affected country, records 3,405 fatalities, followed by China, where the virus was first identified, with 3,248 and Iran with 1,433.
