BREAKING: Armed Men Break Into ABU Staff Quarters, Abduct Lecturer, Wife

Some unknown armed men stormed the staff quarters of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria, Kaduna and kidnapped a senior lecturer of the department of physiology named Bako, his wife and daughter.

MERIDIAN SPY learnt the abduction took place in the early hours of Monday.

Awwalu Umaru, a spokesperson of the institution, also confirmed the incident in a statement.

There have been growing cases of kidnapping in the country. Philip Shekwo, Nasarawa State APC Chairman, was on Saturday abducted in his residence in Lafia, the state capital and was found dead on Sunday.
