BREAKING: 91 New Cases Of Coronavirus Confirmed In Nigeria, Total Now 1273

Ninety-one new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Nigeria, bringing the total number to 1273 in the country.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC broke the news via its verified Twitter handle on Sunday night.

Of the 91 new cases, 43 were confirmed in Lagos, eight in Sokoto, six in Taraba, five in Kaduna and Gombe, three in Ondo, Abuja, Edo, Oyo, Rivers, Bauchi, two in Osun and one in Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Ebonyi and Kebbi.

Total discharged cases also rose to 239, while death toll increased to 40 from 35 last recorded.

NCDC tweeted: “91 new cases of #COVID19 reported; 43-Lagos 8-Sokoto 6-Taraba 5-Kaduna 5-Gombe 3-Ondo 3-FCT 3-Edo 3-Oyo 3-Rivers 3-Bauchi 2-Osun 1-Akwa Ibom 1-Bayelsa 1-Ebonyi 1-Kebbi.

“As at 11:50pm 26th April- 1273 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Discharged: 239 Deaths: 40.”
