BREAKING: 8 More COVID-19 Patients Get Discharged In Lagos

The Lagos State government has announced the discharged of eight coronavirus patients after testing negative twice for the disease.

The Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who made the announcement via his verified twitter handle on Tuesday, said the patients; two females and six males, were discharged from the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital in Yaba.

This brings the tally of total discharged COVID-19 patients in the state to 69.

Sanwo-Olu tweeted: “More great news today from our Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba.

“8 more people; 2 females and 6 males have tested negative and fully recovered from #COVID19. They have been discharged to return to their families.

“This brings the number of patients successfully managed and discharged from our facilities to 69. “Please, let us continue to adhere to all the safety advice from our health experts. #StayAtHome#ForADiseaseFreeLagos#ForAGreaterLagos.”
