BREAKING: 31 New Deaths As Total COVID-19 Cases In Nigeria Hit 17,148

Coronavirus cases in Nigeria have hit 17,148 after 490 cases were confirmed in the country.

This was announced on Tuesday night by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) via its verified Twitter handle.

Out of the 490 new cases of COVID-19, Lagos recorded the highest at 142, followed by FVT-60 and Bayelsa-54. Others are Rivers-39, Delta-37, Oyo-30, Kaduna-26, Imo-23, Enugu-19, Kwara-17, Gombe-11, Ondo-10, Bauchi-8, Ogun-7, Borno-6 and Benue-1.

31 New deaths were also recorded, taking the total fatalities to 455 while total recoveries confirmed in the country now stands at 5,623.
