BREAKING: 20 COVID-19 Patients Recover In Edo

Twenty coronavirus patients have recovered from the disease and have been discharged in Edo State.

This was announced by the state governor, Godwin Obaseki on Thursday via his official Twitter handle.

17 of the patients were discharged from the Stella Obasanjo Hospital, one from University of Benin Teaching Hospital, UBTH and two others from the Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital, ISTH, Irrua, all in Edo State.

With this, the total number of discharged COVID-19 patients in the state now stands at 34.

Obaseki tweeted: “We have discharged 20 persons from our #COVID_19 isolation facilities. 17 are from Stella Obasanjo Hospital; 1 from @ubthng and 2 others from @ISTH_Irrua. So far, 34 persons have been discharged. A patient, who reported late for treatment, was lost to the virus. Stay safe.”
