Abubakar Shekau, a factional leader of Boko Haram terrorist group, has released a video showing students purportedly kidnapped from Government Science Secondary School in Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State.

Some unknown gunmen had on December 11 invaded the school, shooting into the air to scare away people in the area.

Lesss than 48 hours after the attack, Governor Aminu Masari of the state said over 300 students were confirmed missing.

Shekau had, in a four-minute video released on Tuesday, claimed responsibility for the abduction but was dismissed by both the Nigerian military and Governor Masari.

But in a six minutes and 30 seconds long video released by the group on Thursday and obtained by Sahara Reporters, hundreds of other young boys could be seen behind Shekau, all covered in dust.
