Bauchi Confirms Second Coronavirus Case As Governor Appeals For Prayers For Recovery

The number of comfirmed coronavirus cases in Bauchi State have increased to two.

In a press conference on Thursday, the state Commissioner for Health, Aliyu Maigoro, the second case is a 62-year-old patient.

Meanwhile the governor of the state who first tested positive for the virus, Bala Mohammed, in a special message to the people of the state, appealed for their unrelenting prayers for his speedy recovery from the deadly COVID-19.

In a message through his Special Assistant on New Media, Lawal Mu’azu Bauchi, the governor stated; “Assalamu Alaikum my fellow good people of Bauchi State, i am grateful and very thankful for the love and concern shown to me over the past few days.

“i am still in isolation and under medical supervision, i am doing great and showing no symptoms. Let’s not relent in prayers, this phase will be over shortly.”
