The multi-million dollar Golden Jubilee Monument, constructed by the last governor, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, has been destroyed by the Kano State Government under Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf. The monument, which is located near the Kano Government House roundabout, was constructed in 2017 to mark the state’s 50th anniversary. Governor Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno State has flagged off the distribution of 312 tractors and 100 trucks of fertiliser for sale to farmers across the 27 local government areas of the state.
