The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Services on Tuesday confirmed the four people that narrowly escaped death after a helicopter crashed in Lagos State.

The incident happened on Monday afternoon at the Oba Akran area of Ikeja, close to a branch of the United Bank for Africa in the area.
It was gathered that the chopper was used for training when it crashed into a building and went up in flames.
The spokesperson for the agency, Amodu Shakiru, said the occupants sustained injuries
He said, “The helicopter crashed into a building but nobody died. The helicopter was used for training and it has four occupants on board. They had an escort motorised team that was following them on the ground during the training routine exercise which is the standard protocol.”
“The motorised team were the first to arrive at the scene. The occupants sustained varying degrees of injuries and are currently receiving medical attention. We will provide more details later”
