MTN Nigeria, one of Nigeria’s network service providers has apologized to subscribers for its prolonged service outage yesterday.

The apology was contained via the MTN official Facebook page in early night hours after the network became stable for normal activities.

With full regret, the service provider said “Today, of all days, you couldn’t count on us to keep you seamlessly connected with the people, places, business, and things that matter to you. Words cannot express how sorry we are for the disruption we caused.”

“We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience we might have caused you today.”

MTN Nigeria later assured that the issue has been resolved and services restored.

Several MTN subscribers across social media complained about the lengthy network failure which prevented their access to make phone calls and to the internet for a prolonged time despite the cashless policy the country is experiencing.
