President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has described the Hausa people as “great pillars” who play a vital role in the unity and progress of Nigeria.
Tinubu made the remarks in a message shared on Wednesday to commemorate Hausa Day, which is being celebrated at the historic Daura Palace in Katsina State.
The President also highlighted the growth and influence of the Hausa language, describing it as a major language of unity and commerce in Nigeria and across the world.
Tinubu congratulated the Hausa community on the occasion and recognised its contribution to the country’s national cohesion and development.
