The Kwara State Commissioner of Police, CP Ojo Adekimi, has commenced an inspection of police formations across the state as part of efforts to strengthen operational readiness and improve security.
The inspection is focused on assessing the condition and preparedness of police facilities, personnel and operational structures across the command.
The exercise comes as the Kwara Police Command continues to intensify measures aimed at improving public safety, preventing crime and ensuring effective policing across the state. Recent directives by the command have also targeted issues including vehicle identification and enforcement of traffic-related security measures.
The inspection is expected to enable the police leadership to identify operational gaps and address challenges affecting officers’ ability to respond effectively to security threats.
