There are reports that the Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has adjusted the pump price of PMS to N617 per litre.

In a report by ECONOMIC CONFIDENTIAL observed this adjustment in several filling stations owned by the NNPCL in parts of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, on Tuesday morning.

Other Abuja residents also confirmed this development to our correspondents.

The pump price of PMS has been on the rise since the Federal Government’s subsidy removal policy took effect in June.

While the NNPCL is yet to officially confirm the latest price adjustment, it is also not clear at the time of filing this report if the development is national or it is restricted to the FCT.

Details later.
