President Muhammadu Buhari is currently in a meeting with the Minister of State for Petroleum, Timipre Sylva, Minister of Finance, Mrs Zainab Ahmed and some other key members of his cabinets.

The meeting, Meridian Spy confirms, is over the crashing oil prices as international oil benchmark, Brent crude, which stood at $45.72 per barrel on Sunday, slumped to $33 per barrel.

Also in the meeting are the Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele, Group Managing Director Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation NNPC, Mele Kyari, and the Minister for Budget and National Planning, Clement Agba.

More details soon…
