JUST IN: Appeal Court Sets Aside Sack Of Duoye Diri’s Election In Bayelsa

The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has nullified the judgement of the Bayelsa State Election Petition Tribunal sacking Duoye Diri as governor of the state.

In a unanimous judgement on Friday, the appellate court held that the Bayelsa Election Petition Tribunal acted outside its jurisdiction by nullifying the election of Diri’s election.
