I would have been a lawyer if not that I failed JAMB 5 times, Nairabet CEO, Akin Alabi, reveals

Popular Nigerian entrepreneur and philantropist, AKin Alabi, has revealed that he would have been a lawyer if not for his failure to pass the Joint Admission Matriculation Examination (JAMB) on five different occasions.

Mr Alibi, made this shocking revelation onThursday via his verified Twitter account while celebrating Nigerian Law School grduaduates who were recently called to bar as solicitors of the Supreme Court of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The renowned business mogul turned politician, confessed that he had always loved and valued the noble profession. And had once wished to be a lawyer. He said he loved seeing people making progress in their chosen fields of endevours.

Mr Albi, was impressed by the myraid of clourful pictures of the latest law graduates who were called to bar, on the on the internet space.

He wrote: ” I’m excited at the images of law grduaduates trending online. I love it when people progress. Not only that I love the law profession, I would have been a lawyer if I hadn’t failed JAMB 5 times.”

The multi millonaire founder of Nigeria’s first online sports bookingmaking company, Nairabet.com, has been on the news recently owing to his rapid rise to stardom in the business world.

On June 20, Mr Alabi announced that he will be stepping aside as the CEO of Nairabet to enable him concentrate on his political career ahead of 2019.

Consequently, on October 5, 2018, Alabi emerged the All Progressive Congress House of Representatives candidate for the Egbeda/Ona Ara fedral constituentcy in Oyo State for the 2019 general elections.
