Former First Lady of Nigeria, Patience Jonathan, has revealed that she mentored the Group President of Azikel Group, Dr Azibapu Eruani, describing him as a young man she helped guide from his early years into becoming a prominent businessman.
Speaking about Eruani, Patience Jonathan said she introduced him to influential Nigerian business figures, including members of the Dangote and Dantata families, as part of efforts to expose him to opportunities and business networks.
She described Eruani as someone she had known from his younger days and expressed pride in his transformation and achievements in business.
Eruani is the founder and Group President of Azikel Group, which has interests in sectors including oil and gas, manufacturing and infrastructure. The company’s Azikel Refinery is one of Nigeria’s indigenous refinery projects.
