COVID-19: One Medical Doctor, Two Others Get Discharged In Akwa Ibom

Three more coronavirus patients have been confirmed discharged in Akwa Ibom, bringing the total number to six in the state.

Two of the three discharged patients were medical personnels, Otobong Asuquo, a medical doctor, and Emembong Udofa, a pharmacist.

They described their treatment as top-notch and advised Akwa Ibom people to adhere strictly to the COVID-19 safety protocols.

Speaking on how they got infected with COVID-19, they suspected they may have contracted the virus during the medical outreach in Ikot Akpan Abia, Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Area.
