The Minister of Youth and Sports, Sunday Dare has announced that the National Sport Festival NSF scheduled to hold in Edo State from March 22 to April 1, 2020 has been postponed due to the spread of the coronavirus disease.

The minister disclosed on Tuesday via his official handle, @SundayDareSD, that the president, Muhammadu Buhari had approved the postponement of the sport event to a future date.

Dare tweeted, “Following the briefing of Mr. President from myself and the Minister of State for Health on COVID 19, Mr. President approved the immediate postponement of Edo Sports festival to a future date.”
