BREAKING: Nigeria Records 38 New Cases Of Coronavirus, Total Now 665

Thirty-eight new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Nigeria, bringing the total number to 665 in the country.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC released the update via its verified Twitter handle, on Monday.

Of the 38 new cases, 23 were confirmed in Kano, five in Gombe, three in Kaduna, two in Borno and Abia, while Abuja, Sokoto and Ekiti had one case each.

18 new patients were also discharged, bringing the total number to 188 while one new death was recorded, taking the toll to 22 in the country.

NCDC tweeted: “Thirty-eight new cases of #COVID19 have been reported; 23 in Kano 5 in Gombe 3 in Kaduna 2 in Borno 2 in Abia 1 in FCT 1 in Sokoto 1 in Ekiti.

“As at 11:10 pm 20th April there are 665 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Discharged: 188 Deaths: 22.”
