BREAKING: Jigawa Records First COVID-19 Case

Jigawa State government has confirmed its first case of coronavirus in the state.

Speaking with newsmen on Sunday, the state governor, Muhammad Badaru Abubakar said the victim recently returned from Lagos and was placed under isolation while his sample was tested and returned positive.

Abubakar therefore announced a lock down in Kazaure Local Government Area in the state where the COVID-19 case was recorded. The governor further urged the people of the state to be vigilant and alert in the area to avoid a spread of the virus disease.
