The Deputy Speaker of Yobe State House of Assembly, Dr. Garba Ibrahim Kurmi is dead, MERIDIAN SPY can reliably report.
According to a close family source, Dr Kurmi passed on, Monday at the Yobe State University Teaching Hospital Damaturu after a protarcted illness.
Until his death, Dr Kurmi was a member of the State Assembly representing Fika I (Fika/Ngalda) on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) and the chairman security, petition and legislative compliance committee of the house, as well as member of various standing committees.
