Benue State government has announced its first case of Coronavirus.
The state governor, Samuel Ortom, disclosed this on Saturday during a media briefing in the state capital, Markurdi.
Ortom said the case is a recent returnee from the United Kingdom.
Two isolation centres were recently opened at the University Teaching Hospital and Federal Medical Centre Apir.
