BREAKING: 338 Fresh Cases, 6 Deaths, As Nigeria COVID-19 Infections Rise To 5,959

338 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Nigeria, taking the tally to 5,959 in the country.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC made the announcement on Sunday night via its verified Twitter handle.

Out of the 338 new cases, 177 were confirmed in Lagos, 64 in Kano, 21 in FCT, 16 in Rivers, 14 in Plateau, 11 in Oyo, nine in Katsina, four in Jigawa and Kaduna, three in Abia, Bauchi, and Borno, two in Gombe, Akwa Ibom and Delta and one each in Ondo, Kebbi and Sokoto.

Six new fatalities were confirmed while 122 persons recovered from the virus.
