A delegation of the Nigerian Youth Parliament (NYP) condoled with the family of late Miss Vera Uwaila Omozuwa, a University of Benin (UNIBEN) undergraduate who died after she was gang-raped by unknown men inside a church in Benin. Three doctors and five nurses have reportedly tested positive for coronavirus at Mushin General Hospital in Lagos State, The Punch reports. The Court of Appeal sitting in Owerri, Imo State, has affirmed Duoye Diri as the duly elected governor of Bayelsa State. Timi Alaibe, an aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, had filed a suit challenging the emergence of Diri as the legitimate winner of the party’s primaries held on September 3, 2019 and described the election as ‘a flawed process’.
