Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to focus on addressing Nigeria’s worsening hunger and insecurity rather than engaging political opponents.
Atiku argued that the country’s pressing economic and security challenges require urgent government attention, stressing that millions of Nigerians are grappling with the rising cost of living, food inflation and persistent security threats.
He maintained that the administration should channel its efforts towards policies that improve citizens’ welfare, strengthen national security and stimulate economic recovery instead of being distracted by political rivalries.
The remarks add to the ongoing exchange of views between the opposition and the Federal Government over the country’s economic direction and security situation.
