ARISE News has barred political analyst Anthony Kila from appearing on its television channel and other platforms following allegations of falsified academic credentials raised in a PREMIUM TIMES investigation.

The network said it contacted Kila on October 3, 2026, seeking clarification on the allegations, but he had yet to respond ten days later.

ARISE News said the decision, which takes immediate effect, reflects its commitment to credibility and integrity.

The development follows a PREMIUM TIMES investigation alleging irregularities in Kila’s professorial title and other academic qualifications. Kila has maintained that he is a legitimate professor and said he was gathering documents to substantiate his credentials.
