Emmanuel Uduaghan, former governor of Delta State, has dumped the All Progressive Congress (APC) and returned to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Uduaghan who was a former PDP stalwart, had defected to the ruling APC to contest his senatorial district election but lost to James Manager of the PDP.
Announcing his return to the main opposition party at a ceremony in Abigborodo, Warri North Local Government Area of the state on Monday, the ex-governor said he felt like he never left.
“I am back to join forces with other party greats to strengthen our party, the largest party in Africa (PDP),” he told his supporters at the event.
“Having tasted the other side, it feels refreshing to be back home. Thank you all for receiving me back. It feels like I never left.”
