The Allied People’s Movement (APM) has concluded plans to commence its presidential primary election amid increasing political momentum surrounding the opposition coalition reportedly being championed by Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde.

The exercise, currently ongoing, followed the successful conduct of the party’s gubernatorial and State House of Assembly primaries a few days ago, and it is expected to attract delegates, party leaders, political stakeholders, and supporters from across the country.

The presidential primary, which is being held at Ogunlesi Hall, opposite the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, has in attendance the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials, security agencies, strategically mobilised to prevent any breakdown of law and order at the venue of the event.
