Nana Akufo-Addo, President of Ghana, has been declared winner of the December 7 election in the country.
Jean Mensah, chairperson of Ghana electoral commission, declared Akufo-Addo, who contested under the platform of New Patriotic Party (NPP), as winner of the polls after securing 6,730,430 votes to defeat his closest rival and former President, John Mahama who polled 6,214,889 votes.
