The All Progressives Congress (APC) has scheduled an emergency meeting of its National Executive Committee (NEC) on Tuesday, December 8.
The meeting will “review the Party’s position and set agenda for the Party’s next move.
This was made known in a formal invitation sent to APC NEC members by Sen. John James Akpanudoedehe National Secretary of the Party’s Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC), on Sunday night.
“An emergency meeting of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the APC has been scheduled for Tuesday, 8th December, 2020,” the statement read.
“In a formal invitation sent to APC NEC members by the National Secretary of the (CECPC), Sen. John James Akpanudoedehe, the meeting will “review the Party’s position and set agenda for the Party’s next move.
“In line with the COVID-19 health protocols, the APC NEC meeting will be virtual. Login details will be sent to APC NEC members. The meetingfor 11am at the Council Chamber, State House, Abuja.”
MERIDIAN SPY understand that the six months tenure of the Governor Mai Mala Buni -led Caretaker Committee is expected to lapse which suggest the committee will be granted an extension at the upcoming NEC meeting of the party to enable it conclude its assignment.
