Oyo State Government has announced the discharge of three coronavirus patients in the state, after their test results returned negative.
The state Governor, Seyi Makinde made the announcement on Tuesday via his verified Twitter handle.
Makinde also disclosed that the results of two suspected COVID-19 cases came back positive. “One case in Ibadan North and one case in Ibadan North West,” he added.
The governor tweeted: “Three confirmed COVID-19 patients have received their second NEGATIVE test results and have been discharged. This brings the number of discharged cases in Oyo State to seventeen.
“Also, the COVID-19 confirmation tests for two suspected cases came back POSITIVE. One case in Ibadan North and one case in Ibadan North West. So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State as at 8 PM today, is sixty-seven.”
