Five persons have been detained by the EFCC on suspicion of forging letterhead from the offices of the National Security Advisor, Attorney General of the Federation, and Minister of Justice in order to commit fraud. The suspects were detained on August 24, according to a statement made by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren, on Tuesday in Abuja. The Board of Trustees (BoT) of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has suspended its candidate in the Feb. 25 presidential election, Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso for alleged anti-party activities.
