Willie Obiano, Anambra State governor, has lost a Special Assistant aide on youth and students affairs, Sheriff Emeka Eboh.
According to information from a close family source, Mr. Eboh died on Tuesday after a brief illness.
He died at the Chukwu Emeka Odumegwu University Teaching Hospital, Anambra State.
Until his death, Mr. Eboh was a renowned youth and students activist. He was first appointed Special Assistant on youth and students to Governor Willie Obiano in 2017.
Mr. Eboh was a renowned student leader and a front-line member of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS).
In 2016 he vied for the position of the National President of the organization and ended up as the first runner up in a keenly contested election.
He was a participatory member of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) and Nigeria’s representative at the West Africa Students Union (WSU).
Mr. Sheriff Emeka Eboh is survived by his wife and his immediate family members.
