Unknown gunmen suspected to be IPOB/ESN terrorists in South-East have killed scores of security operatives in Umualumaku, a community in Ehime Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State.
The Meridian Spy gathered that the incident occured, on Tuesday morning.
The suspected IPOB gunmen ambushed the security operatives, who were driving in two security pick-up trucks opened fire on them before setting the personnel in the vehicles on fire.
The victims of the attack who were operatives of ‘Search and Flush Joint Operation Team, comprised military and security personnel on a mission to protect innocent citizens in the axis.
The attack on troops is coming after, the factional leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Simon Ekpa in a viral video declared a sit-at-home on selected dates in September and October in “Biafra Land.”
The sit-at-home according to him was to demand the release of IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu from detention
Kanu, a British-Nigerian advocates for the secession and independence of Biafra from Nigeria.
