Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu has tested negative for coronavirus.
This is coming barely a week ago after the governor tested positive for the disease.
In a statewide broadcast on Monday, Akeredolu announced that after spending days in isolation, doctors confirmed him negative after running the test twice.
He urged residents of the state to always take precautions against the dreaded virus.
He said despite the challenges, his administration will continue to sustain effort to stemming the spread of the pandemic.
Recall the Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi had given the governor a 21-day ultimatum to hand over the affairs of state to him while Akeredolu was undergoing treatment for the disease.
