Colonel Abubakar Dangiwa Umar (retd), former governor of Kaduna State, has come out to disown the newly formed political movement, National Consultative Front (NCF) which had a handful of eminent Nigerians, including human right lawyer, Femi Falana.
The newly formed NCF said its aim is to advance political reforms and ideal leadership in the country, ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
MERIDIAN SPY reports Thursday, human right lawyer who was also enlisted as a member of the political movement, Olisa Agbakoba dissociated himself from the group, stating that he was never consultative.
Similarly, Col. Umar, in a statement on Friday, said he is not a member of the group.
“My attention has been drawn to a widely circulated story that I am part of the promoters of a new political movement known as the National Consultative Front,” he said.
“This is not true. I was never consulted and I am not part of the National Consultative Front.”
