403 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Nigeria, taking the total to 16,085 in the country.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) broke the news on Sunday via its verified Twitter handle.
Out of the 403 new cases, Gombe recorded 73; the highest single-day cases, followed by Lagos-68 and Kano-46. Others are Edo-36, FCT-35, Nasarawa-31, Kaduna-17, Oyo-16, Abia-15, Delta-13, Borno-13, Plateau-8, Niger-7, Rivers-7, Enugu-6, Ogun-6, Kebbi-3, Ondo-1, Anambra-1 and Imo-1.
Total discharged and death rose to 5,220 and 420 respectively.
