Nigeria has recorded 241 new cases of coronavirus, taking the tally of total cases to 10,819.
This was announced by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) late night Tuesday via its verified Twitter handle.
Out of the new cases, 141 were confirmed in Lagos, 15 in Oyo, 13 in FCT, 12 in Kano, 11 in Edo, 10 in Delta, nine in Kaduna and Rivers, eight in Borno, four in Jigawa, three in Gombe and Plateau and one each in Osun and Bauchi.
Data released by NCDC also revealed that 15 new deaths were recorded, taking the total fatalities in the country to 314.
117 patients recovered from the virus across the country, bringing the total to 3,239.
