The Lagos State Government has announced the discharge of 45 coronavirus patients receiving treatment at the state isolation centres to reunite with their families.
The Lagos State Ministry of Health made the announcement on Saturday via its verified Twitter handle.
The newly discharged patients include 22 females and 23 males, all of whom are Nigerians.
Out of the 45 patients, 19 were discharged from the Infectious Disease Hospital, IDH Yaba, three from Onikan, eight from Agidingbi, seven from Lekki, one from Eti-Osa and seven from the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH isolation centres.
The health ministry tweeted: “Breaking! 45 #COVID19Lagos patients; 22 females & 23 males, all Nigerians have been discharged from our Isolation facilities to reunite with the society.
“The patients; 19 from Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, 3 from Onikan, 8 from Agidingbi, 7 from Lekki, 1 from Eti-Osa (LandMark) & 7 from LUTH Isolation Centres were discharged having fully recovered & tested negative to #COVID19.
“With this, the number of COVID19 cases successfully managed & discharged in Lagos State has risen to 707.”
