Lagos State Government has announced the discharge of fifteen coronavirus patients receiving treatment in the state.
The Lagos State Ministry of Health broke the news on Sunday via its verified Twitter handle.
According to the health ministry, the 15 patients, which include nine females and six males, were discharged from the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, IDH at Yaba, Agidingbi and the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH Isolation Centres.
This brings the tally of total discharge in the state to 623, out of the 2,373 confirmed cases in the state.
The tweet reads: “#COVID19Lagos Update Breaking! 15 #COVID19Lagos patients; 9 females & 6 males, all Nigerians have been discharged from our Yaba, LUTH & Agidingbi Isolation facilities to reunite with the society.
“The patients; 9 from Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, 1 from Agidingbi & 5 from LUTH Isolation Centres have fully recovered & tested negative to #COVID19 in two consecutive readings.
“This brings to 623, number of confirmed cases that have been discharged in Lagos.”
