Founder of Daar Communications, High Chief Raymond Aliegho Dokpesi and seven other members of his family have reportedly tested positive for coronavirus.
Days after his son, and chairman of the board of the company, Raymond Dokpesi Jnr was reported to have contracted the disease, the test result conducted by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC on the Dokpesi family, returned positive for eight members of his family, including his daughter-in-law.
The media mogul and his affected family members have reportedly been evacuated to the isolation centre at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada, Abuja where his son is already receiving treatment.
Reacting to the development, Dokpesi who spoke shortly after the arrival of the NCDC Ambulance, said he feels very well.
The headquarters building of the company at Kpaduma Hills in Asokoro District Of Abuja, has since been decontaminated, while contact tracing also commenced with his family members and extended to senior management and members of staff who may have been in close contact with Dokpesi Jnr.
