As the world battles to contain the increasing spread of the deadly coronavirus pandemic, another new virus has been detected in Yunnan Province in China, Hantavirus.
The new deadly virus has already killed a man on Monday.
The Chinese man was on a bus to Shandong Province from work when he fell and died.
According to Global Times, he tested positive for the new Hantavirus as the other 32 persons in the bus were also tested.
Hantavirus is spread mainly by rodents.
The cases of human-to-human transmission of Hantavirus, unlike COVID-19, are rare.
Humans may become infected with Hantavirus if they come in contact with rodent urine, saliva, or faeces.
Early symptoms of the virus include fatigue, fever, and muscle aches, along with headache, dizziness, chills and abdominal problems.
If left untreated, it can lead to coughing and shortness of breath and finally death.
