An official of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, Salihu Umar has tested positive for the coronavirus pandemic.
In a tweet on Monday, Umar confirmed he had tested positive, adding that he is still under self-isolation awaiting the health officials for evacuation to Gwagwalada isolation centre.
He wrote: “I have just tested positive for COVID19. At the moment, I am still under self isolation as health personnel make their way to my house for evacuation to Gwagwalada isolation centre. My neighbours and employer have been notified accordingly.”
This comes two hours after Umar tweeted that a passenger on same flight with him tested positive for the virus disease.
His earlier tweet reads: “Someone on my flight tested positive, that is to say everyone on that flight has been exposed. Although, I’m in self isolation, time to go get tested ASAP.”
