Fans laud Wizkid’s directorial debut
Fans of ace Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, have lauded him for directing the official music video of his hit song, ‘Kese’ (Dance).
The Grammy-winning artiste made his directing debut with ‘Kese’, one of the hit songs in his sixth studio album,’Morayo.’
The hit music video, produced by JM film production, has surpassed 900,000 views within 48 hours of release.
‘Kese’ video unfolds across three distinct settings, as it opened on a dimly lit theatre stage, where a group of dancers perfected intricate choreography.
Thereafter, the mood shifted to a lively house party, where Wizkid joined a crowd, moving effortlessly to the scintillating lyrics.
The final scene delivered a striking visual statement as Wizkid posed in an art gallery alongside elegantly dressed black models, showcasing beauty and cultural pride.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Wizkid’s new feat has sent fans into a frenzy, with the ‘Kese’ video trending as the number one topic on social media.
Many fans praised Wizkid for his creativity and dynamism in music, saying he had taken bold moves that showcased his growth beyond music.
