Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a new price reduction for its Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) product, lowering the price to N899.50 per litre.
The decision, aimed at providing relief to Nigerians ahead of the festive season, was disclosed in a statement released on Thursday morning by Anthony Chiejina, the Group’s Chief Branding and Communications Officer.
This marks the second price cut in less than a month, as the refinery had previously reduced the price to N970 per litre on November 24. “This latest adjustment is designed to ease transport costs during the holiday period,” Chiejina stated.
As part of its efforts to support consumers, the company also introduced a special holiday offer. According to the statement, “For every litre of fuel purchased on a cash basis, consumers will be eligible to buy an additional litre on credit. This credit facility will be backed by a bank guarantee from Access Bank, First Bank, or Zenith Bank.”
The refinery emphasized its commitment to making transportation more affordable during the festive season, offering the discounted price at its truck loading gantry and Single Point Mooring (SPM).
