A former spokesperson for the Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign Council, Daniel Bwala, on Thursday, indicated that the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, will face expulsion from the Peoples Democratic Party when the right time comes.
Bwala said this while speaking on Channels Television programme, Politics Today.
Wike had on Wednesday challenged the PDP to take any action against him through suspension or disciplinary measures if they could. He asserted that he had yet to encounter a party leader who possessed the authority to suspend or expel him from the PDP.
Bwala explained that their limited response to Wike’s statements stemmed from his inclination towards drama, which is widely recognised.
He emphasised that the quietness exhibited by the party is not an indication of weakness but a deliberate strategy. Bwala asserted that at the appropriate time, Wike would not just be suspended, but also ultimately expelled from the party.
“Why we hardly react to what he (Wike) says is because he loves drama, everybody knows that,” Bwala said.
“The quietness of the party is not weakness…the party knows what it is doing. At the appropriate time, he (Wike) would not only be suspended but also expelled. Take that to the bank,” he said
