Church Celebrates Ex-Polaris Bank Staff, Emeribe after 31 Years in Servic
Winners Pinnacle Ministry International Incorporated, a pentecostal gospel church in Benin, Edo State, has celebrated Chinyere Love Emeribe, after a stint of 31 years in the banking sector.
In an event which took place at the church auditorium in Benin on Sunday, the church in a very distinctive way honoured her own.
By 11 am on Sunday, the church auditorium had a throng of guests from all walks of life in an unusual capacity. Guests compromising friends, colleagues, family members and well-wishers were in attendance to honour the celebrant.
Vision-bearer of Winners Pinnacle Ministry International, Evang. Mrs. Veronica Ifeoma Mgbezute, extolled the celebrant; noting that she honoured God and men while in active service with Polaris Bank Limited. The fiery woman of God also praised Mrs Chinyere Love Emeribe for her service in God’s church for decades and counting.
Highlights of the event included: praise and worship session, remarks from guests and church leaders, dance galore, presentation of gifts and a vote of thanks from the celebrant and her family.
Husband to the celebrant, Mr. Ray Nnamdi Emeribe, showered praises on her wife for a job well-done at the bank. Mr. Emeribe applauded his wife for being the epitome of hope and a shining light to others while she was in active service. He, however, thanked God for the grace to get to the finishing line of her career in sound health and hope.

The MeridianSPY publisher, Sunny Ibeh Jnr, in a statement sent to the newsroom, says even though he was unavoidably absent at the event physically, his spirit was with the celebrant and the church. Mr. Ibeh Jnr. described the celebrant as a mother he could go out all for; a benefactor whose benevolence and inputs in his life cannot be overemphasized.
“Chinyere Love Emeribe is a mother and rare benefactor whose role in my life remains indelible in the sands of time”, his statement reads in part.
Chinyere Love Emeribe joined AfriBank in 1992 as a graduate trainee. In her stint in the bank, she saw the bank transitioned from AfriBank, to Mainstreet Bank, to Skye Bank and then Polaris Bank, respectively. She rose from her position as a graduate trainnee to the position a senior manager within a couple of years, and then she became the Group Head, Edo-Delta region of the bank, at some point.
She holds a barchelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN), a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Benin ( UNIBEN). She also holds a pastoral degree from the All Nations Theological Institute, Benin.
Chinyere Love Emeribe, is a proud recipient of several professional and humanitarian awards of excellence; an accomplished mother of repute, a supporting cleric and a renowned philanthropist whose life is a beehive of solace and hope to the poor and needy. She is happily married and blessed with sons and daughters in addition to a number of adopted children.
